Chad Benson doesn’t look or sound like a typical talk radio host. And that’s a GREAT thing. Conversational, informative, irreverent and very FUNNY. Chad’s take on the issues offers a refreshing sound that gives talk listeners the hard news and opinion that they need in a thoughtful, entertaining way that they CRAVE.

[Inside Radio – Talking the Talk Right Means More than Just Politics]

At 44, Chad is part of a New Generation of talk hosts that is able to connect with talk’s existing demo while bringing new and younger listeners into the format. Chad is an accomplished talk show host boasting over 22 years experience in the entertainment industry. He started in music radio in the 1990s at the legendary KRTH in Los Angeles as the Executive Producer of the Robert W. Morgan Show and has also been featured on Los Angeles radio stations such as KZLA-FM and KNCI-FM and KWOD-FM in Sacramento. Chad has also honed his skills as a voice artist for several Hollywood productions and has been the voice of several cartoon characters.

[Inside Radio – Syndication’s Next Generation: Chad Benson]

Chad’s sense of showmanship and entertainment, developed from years in music radio, has had a huge influence on him as a talk host, which is where his true passion lies. Using this creativity from the music side of the business, Chad honed his talk skills at Talk Radio UK as one of the first commercial talk hosts to take on the mighty BBC, boasting over a quarter million listeners per week. With success and experience abroad, Chad returned to the U.S. and hosted programs in Palm Springs at K-NEWS-FM and in San Antonio at KTSA-AM. “Chad Benson is not the usual talk host. His entertaining style, and passion for talk radio, helped develop him into a great talent.  He’s not afraid to go places the average talk host will not tread.  Very unique!”, says Greg Martin, Operations Manager / Program Director, Alpha Media San Antonio.

[All Access: 10 Questions with Chad Benson]

In his early years, fresh out of school, Chad left everything he knew at home in Southern California to play professional soccer in Europe and was talented enough to be signed onto the rosters of several teams including the Bristol Rovers, the Fallkirk Scotland and the Portsmouth Football Club.

Chad has a son named Jack, who has changed his world.

The American Family Farmer Show is the weekly voice for small, independent farm owners, as well hobby farmers and all of those interested in eating natural foods that make as few stops as possible from the farm to the table.

The weekly program is packed with information and advocacy for the beleaguered family farmer, as well as those who support these farmers and the food that they produce, as an alternative to the  processed food options that occupy most grocery stores.

American Family Farmer is hosted by Doug Stephan, lifelong broadcaster and a dedicated lifelong family farmer! Stephan is the owner/operator of several dairy farms in the Boston suburb of Framingham, MA under the umbrella of Eastleigh Farm.

“I have been around cows all my life,” said Stephan. “I spent all my free time around the animals as a young boy.” Stephan continues, “I have become more involved on a wider scale, to the point now where I have several hundred Jersey dairy cows, which provide us with the raw milk we sell, along with cheeses, ice cream and various other diary-related products that have meaning to those in the locavore movement [people who choose to eat food locally grown and raised].” Stephan is a tell-it-like-it is advocate for the political and economic interests of the farmers this program is designed to serve.

American Family Farmer is a targeted revenue generator for stations, geared to a wide variety of advertisers specifically interested in reaching the farming community and the growing natural foods market.

Now in its eighth year, Animals Today covers all things related to animals worldwide, with an emphasis on their welfare.

Different than other animal programs whose focus is solely on pets, Animals Today covers and explores the wide range of topics and issues concerning all animals, including animals in agriculture and in the wild, while promoting increased respect, compassion and kindness toward them. Lori, along with husband and Producer Dr. Peter Spiegel, interview animal protectors and rescuers, legislators and lawyers, and filmmakers and authors from around the globe about the latest animal topics and issues. Commentary, news and more lighthearted features round out this fast-paced and thought-provoking show.

Recent segments have focused on such diverse subjects such as the dangers wind farms pose to eagles, shark conservation efforts, language and communication research in non-human animals, and marijuana for pets.

A few of Animals Today’s noteworthy guests have included Bob Barker, author Dean Koontz, Actress Tippi Hedren, US Representative Tom Marino, CA Assembly member Richard Bloom, award-winning independent journalist Will Potter, and President, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, Dr. Neal Barnard. Lori and Peter have covered The Best Friends Animal Society National Conference, the FARM animal rights conference, toured the Born Free USA Primate Sanctuary, and have broadcast from other events and locations of interest.

Praise for Animals Today:

“I thank you so much for this show, Lori, you’re a shining light out there – this is spectacularly good and I really appreciate it. The Humane Society of the United States admires you so much in your work, and thanks you.” Dr. John Grandy, Senior VP for Wildlife and Habitat Protection, HSUS.

“I want to thank you for what you do, it’s a pleasure for me to be on your program, and I’m really glad we can get behind something as positive as this bill…” Congressman Dutch Ruppersberger, speaking about pet devocalization ban legislation.

“Lori and Peter, I am a big fan of Animals Today and deeply appreciate your work to cover the important issues concerning the treatment of animals in all sorts of venues all around the world. Anyone who cares about animals should listen to Animals Today.” Marc Bekoff, author and Professor Emeritus, University of Colorado.

Meet Jack Burkman, a K street Lobbyist and strategist like no other. Beholden to no one, Behind the Curtain with Jack Burkman stops at nothing to get to the stories that nobody is talking about but everyone needs to know.

With 25 years experience in the bowels of Washington, Burkman maintains an impressive intelligence network made up of insiders in the highest corridors of power. Now for the first time, your listeners will be privy to this information, the kind of details that before now have only been available to the true insiders who personally benefit from it every day.

Each week, Burkman focuses on news stories that are under the surface or are not being covered at all by the mainstream media. Featuring strong investigative reporting and analysis, Burkman uses his experience to reveal the secrets that K Street tries to hide from the public.

Over the last decade, the size and scope of government has grown exponentially, starting with the Bush Administration and continuing at a daunting pace with the Obama Administration. Helping to the fuel this growth, is a lobbying industry that uses member of Congress to fund programs that the country does not need and can not afford. Driven by the revolving door between K Street and the government, this epidemic crosses party lines and has infected both parties and is threatening the financial stability of the nation.

Burkman is a powerful conservative voice, but doesn’t work for the GOP establishment and his pursuit of the truth doesn’t stop at the party line.

Behind the Curtain goes beyond politics, covering key social debates of the day, as well as legal controversies and other issues.

Join Burkman on his weekly journey to pursue the truth and expose the dark secrets of K Street.

Your listeners will learn about nutrition, diet, exercise, vitamins, herbal supplements, homeopathy, healthy lifestyle, mind-body medicine, and many other healing techniques.

Dr. Bob Martin is the undisputed king of weekend revenue generation and is often referred to as talk radio’s “weekend money magnet”. Not only does the show add to your bottom line, but you don’t have to sacrifice ratings or station image to do it. It’s the antidote to weekend infomercials, reruns, and stale best of’s!

Dr. Bob Martin believes that information and education are the keys to good health, and takes every opportunity to share his knowledge through consumer lectures, newspapers and radio health talk programs throughout the United States and Canada.

Dr. Martin holds a science certification from the University of South Dakota School Of Medicine, as well as being board certified in Anti-Aging Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Martin is double board certified as a Clinical Nutritionist (C.C.N.) through both the International and American Associations of Clinical Nutritionists and as a Diplomat of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition (D.A.C.B.N). Additionally, Dr. Martin is a board certified Chiropractic Physician and Physiotherapist in the states of Arizona, Colorado and Kentucky. He is certified in Applied Kinesiology and has training in the fields of medicine, acupuncture, herbology, sports medicine, and exercise physiology. Dr. Martin is also the author of Secret Nerve Cures.

These specialties led Dr. Martin to formulate over 30 different nutritional supplements and homeopathic remedy formulas. Dr. Martin also sponsors Age Defying Health Cruises for vacationers interested in learning about how to better maintain their precious health and reduce preventable disease risk.

As a nutrition expert, Dr. Martin provides input for nutraceutical companies who are aiming to bring new products to market. He also works as a health consultant for Nutritional Testing Services-a company that provides comprehensive digestive system laboratory analysis for consumers. With an innovative approach to optimal health management, the company also provides nutritional blood analysis, at-home salivary hormone tests, and screening for toxic metal poisoning along with a full mineral assay. Results and recommendations are sent directly to the consumer.

The interactive call-in programs focus on giving listeners health information that will encourage the motivation, confidence and conviction that they need to heal their own bodies of many ailments. The shows also provide a forum for provocative discussions about trends in health care and wellness optimization.

“You can be your own doctor most of the time, and I’ll tell you how.” – Dr. Bob Martin
